The Little Egret was seen by several other birders this morning. It flew from the storm water management pond on the south side of Emerald Meadows Dr. (Which is east off Eagleson Rd.)towards Hope Side Rd which is the next road south off Eagleson. I have personally not seen the bird today but wanted to get the message out. The weather is moderate rain and windy. There are at least two Great Egrets in the area that are actively flying around so please use caution if identifying this bird at a distance. Eagleson Road is a north /south road in Kanata which can be accessed from Fallowfield Rd in the south or the Queensway (417) in Kanata north I will repost if seen again.
