TheAmerican Avocet returned at 7:52 am (still there at 8:40) at the mouth of
Pinecrest creek. Please see Nina's post for directions. Bird is best viewed
from the west side of the creek in the morning light. If you approach from the
bike path follow the trail along either side of the creek . Boots recommended
it is a bit muddy.
