I heard that the bird was seen at approx 7.30 am today 30 June to the EAST of Andrew Haydon Park. The bird has typically been at the west side bay when in this area. The bird was reportedly spooked by a dog walker. If the bird does return to this area I believe that very early in the am. 6 or earlier is the time this bird has stopped or overflown the area from its roosting spot on Conroy Island in Gatineau Quebec which is just downriver on the opposite shore of the Ottawa River. Good luck to all who try. Additionally last Saturday a Kingbird. Now believed to be a Tropical Kingbird from measurements of photos taken of the bird was seen on Upper Duck Island about 15 km downriver from Andrew Haydon Park. This bird had not been relocated and may still be in the area, WE HOPE!!!! Please report any sightings of either bird. Michael
