I found the male sitting on the low fence near sw corner of the strip mall
located in sw corner of Southdown Road/Royal Windsor/Lake shore Boulevard
at western end of Clarkson. I parked along the fence and the bird male few
and move west into the mowed area and I soon flushed a female what I am
sure were two newly-fledged young. I followed them for about 30 minutes
and was unable to get photographs. I lost them when they scattered in the
field sw of the antennae array. FYI I saw 3 of the species only about 2 km
south of here on the west side of the Suncor Refinery property when it
meets the eastern edge of Lakeside Park on 20 July 2012 (and later seen by
others). Both these areas provide ideal breeding habitat for this species
and may prove to be nesting here on a regular basis.

Directions: Go south on Erin Mills Parkway exit and turn south and drive
down Southdown to Lakeshore Boulevard. Park in sw corner of the strip mall
(big stores include Metro and Canadian Tire) along the fence which is
adjacent to the hay field where birds were seen. There is a huge antennae
array in the field. There is area of downed fencing there ... but this is
private land and you can follow fence line around along Royal Windsor drive
the scope the area as well.
