Somewhat rare in these parts and certainly a first of fall sighting for the Hammer this year, a Red Knot is present at Windermere Basin today. Looks to be a juvenile bird.
Windermere basin is accessed off of Eastport drive in Hamilton south of the skyway bridge just south of a gigantic white warehouse building. The access road is on the west side.
