Hello, Kevin Seymour, Anonymous Birder, and I found a juvenile Buff-breasted Sandpiper on beach 3 at Presqu'ile Provincial Park at approximately 5:15 p.m. The bird was still present when we left at 6. The only other noteworthy shorebird we found today was an adult White-rumped Sandpiper, though we did not see it this evening.
Presqu'ile Provincial Park is located just south of Brighton, Ontario. Park at the Owen Point Trail lot and head towards the "swimming beach". Cheers, Mark _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
