Mark Patry and I checked Lake Dore this morning, where bird numbers continue to build. At least 80 Bonaparte's were present along with 3 Little Gulls: 1 adult and 2 second year. Also present was a 1st winter Lesser Black-backed Gull. Other birds included Horned Grebe (4) and at least 80 Common Loon. Lake Dore is located along highway 41 just north of Eganville. The best viewing is from Church Point Road.
