There are at least 7 adult Little Gulls on the water seen from Southshore Centre on Lakeshore Drive in Barrie, 1:00-1:45 pm. Earlier, one adult was near the boat launch at Lakeshore and Tiffin. Scope recommended. Birds fly around for a while then settle on water amongst 250-300 Bonaparte's Gulls. Also 5 adult Common Loons in this group.
Directions: from Hwy 400 take Essa Road exit towards the bay, turn right at Tiffin then right onto Lakeshore. Large pay parking lot at Southshore Centre, but note birds are moving around depending on where the prey are.
