Weather:
Fog limited visibility once again, blotting out Canada to our east and the
stacks to our north. Not until late morning did either marker reveal
themselves. Mostly overcast above, a fissure of blue cracked through the
gray late, widening as the last hour progressed. Temperatures reached the
mid 60s, but with the sun hidden from view, it felt much cooler. The wind
was light and variable throughout.

Raptor Observations:
With the fog thick and soupy, not much besides blackbirds caught our
attention in the morning. Sharp-shinned Hawks arose by midday, small scouts
feeling their way through the gloom, their advancement heralding an
oncoming surge of accipiters and buteos. Fashionably late, our vultures
didn't arrive until mid-afternoon, woozy as always.

Non-raptor Observations:
Blue Jay (4000+), Red-winged Blackbird (700+), Common Grackle (25+),
American Goldfinch (40+), House Finch (15+), Tree Swallow (200+), Northern
Rough-winged Swallow (8), Chimney Swift (35+), Philadelphia Vireo (1),
Tufted Titmouse (1), Yellow-rumped Warbler (15+), Monarch (3), Common Green
Darner (2)

Predictions:
Mostly sunny with highs in the low 70s and light northwest wind.
