A small group of students (not sure what school they were from) and a few
other visitors. Thanks to Matt, Jim, Keith, Mary and Clive for getting a
count done today.
Weather:
IT was not great weather to start....very humid and overcast and moderate
winds from NW and temp hitting high of 14C.
Raptor Observations:
A total of 256 birds with TVs (64) along with Sharpies (124), N. Harriers
(15), a lone Bald Eagle, Cooper's Hawks (4), singles of Redtail and
Red-shouldered, Kestrels (42), a couple each of Merlin and Peregrine.
Non-raptor Observations:
A E. Towhee early in the morning but really no other passerines reported.
Predictions:
Winds are now predicted to be from the SW which is good timing for a
possible PEREGRINE flight along the cliff.
