Seventeen OFO members had an enjoyable outing to Amherst Island yesterday
(we didn't venture to Wolfe Island) and logged a very reasonable 67 species.
Highlights of the trip included Horned Grebe, Red-necked Grebe, Hudsonian
Godwit, Black-bellied Plover, Dunlin, Black Scoter, Bufflehead, Sandhill
Crane, Hermit Thrush, Red-bellied Woodpecker, American Pipit, the first
Rough-legged hawk of the season and at least one abieticola (Northern)
