Hi, Posting for Maureen Riggs. This morning Maureen found 2 Red Phalaropes on Beach 1 at Presqu’ile. One of them vanished fairly quickly but one is still feeding at waters edge. It is often right in against the mounds of shoreline algae so you may need to go to waters edge to see it.
There was also a sub adult Lesser Black-backed Gull on the rocks off Sebastopol Is. (the small island north of Gull Is. with a willow and 2 duck blinds on it). Cheers, Doug McRae Doug McRae P.O.
