Observation start time: 09:00:00
Observation end time: 14:00:00
Total observation time: 5 hours

Official Counter: Jonathan Stein

Weather:
Overcast from start to finish, periodic snow flurries limited visibility
considerably during the afternoon hours. Temperatures remained frosty,
briefly touching the mid 30s but going no higher. The wind was moderate and
out of the south.

Raptor Observations:
Pleasing looks at a close Golden Eagle and a close Northern Harrier
salvaged an otherwise sedate outing. A handful of Red-tailed Hawks and two
young and wandering Bald Eagles were the only others willing to brave such
bitter conditions.

Non-raptor Observations:
Dunlin (60+), Great Black-backed Gull (1), Tundra Swan (85+), Canada Goose
(220+), Redhead (55+), Bufflehead (8), Common Goldeneye (1), Ruddy Duck
(7), Gadwall (2), Red-breasted Merganser (40+), Pied-billed Grebe (1),
Cedar Waxwing (7), American Robin (80+)

Predictions:
Partly cloudy with chilly temps and light west wind.
