This afternoon at 4:00 I had 4 Greater White-fronted Geese at the Everett 
Gravel Pits.

To get there, go west on Highway 89 from Alliston.  At the 4th concession turn 
right (north).  Drive to the next intersection.  Turn left (west) onto the 5th 
concession.  The pit is on the right.  The best viewing is from the top of the 
hill.  There is just enough room to pull over on the right side of the road.  
Be careful because this is at the crest of the hill.  It is best not to stop at 
the bottom of the hill because you are much more likely to flush the geese.  
There were over a thousand Canada’s there this afternoon.
