Weather: All in all, a gray day. Gray water, gray skies, gray-looking trees. The rain began again at 9:30 and didn't stop all day so the count only lasted 3 hours. Wind was around 9kph from the SE and S and the temperature stayed around 9C. Raptor Observations: No raptors migrated Non-raptor Observations: The only passerines that migrated were a small group of European Starlings. 2 Northern Cardinals, a junco, a Song Sparrow, a Downy Woodpecker, and a Winter Wren were all present in the area around the tower. One Wilson's Snipe picked up and flew off to the west.
