Hello everyone,

As others have mentioned, the Bullock's Oriole was well seen earlier today
(Sunday) in Packenham in the areas previously described.

I just want to make a slight correction to the directions: the favoured apple
trees are actually on the west (truly, southwest) end of Dalkeith Street, where
it bends sharply and becomes Jessie Street - not the east end of the street as
previously mentioned. (The actual east end of Dalkeith Street is a cemetery,
which has no apple trees or orioles, but instead has large pine trees and
somewhat appropriately, crows.)

The west end of the street is adjacent to a recently abandoned CPR line that
provides clear views of most of the frequented trees.

Good birding,

Jakob Mueller
