This evening there are 12 Greater White-fronted Geese at the Ridgetown Sewage Lagoons. They are north of the road but all the ponds are open with good numbers of geese.
Reuven Martin Directions: exit the 401 at Victoria Rd (Ridgetown) and head south. Turn right (west) on O'Neill Line (2nd road after 401), then left (south) on Colby Road (1st turn). Take the next right (west) onto Milton Line and you will soon come upon the lagoons on both the north and south sides of the road. The southerly lagoons can be viewed from the viewing tower on the south side of the road. The other lagoons are to the north of here. The geese were all in the most northerly pond _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
