At 1 p.m. today, sighted 1 adult Bald Eagle at the swamp along Bruce St at the south edge of Keswick. Seen in the Bald Eagle nest occupied annually at this location, then flew about 100-150 feet to land in one of the many Great Blue Heron nests also in this swamp. To get there, drive west on Ravenshoe Rd. from Leslie St. approximately 1 km west to Bruce St. (last street running north from Ravenshoe Rd. before reaching the drained agricultural marshland).
