This afternoon (about an hour ago, around 1400) we found a group of three Ross's Geese hanging out with Canada Geese in a field on the south side of Mersea Rd 1 near Hillman Marsh. Mersea Rd 1 is the east continuation of Seacliffe Dr. in Leamington, Essex County. The road turns from pavement to gravel about 4km east of Gore Hill School, and this is where that field with the geese is located. All three look like pure Ross's Geese. Good birding!
