One ruffed grouse walking along the bike/walking path that runs along the eastern side of Lynde Shores Conservation Area. Seen about 10 m north of the drainage pond. This individual is probably a juvenile and was very tame. It approached me and my dog and was about 1 m away.
Park at Lynde Shores Conservation area and take the multiuse trail east along Victoria. When you reach the subdivision follow the trail south. The area around the drainage pond would be a good place to look.
