Tundra Swans and Canada Geese are back at Aylmer Wildlife Management Area in big numbers with 450 swans and 600 geese patiently [so far] forming long line ups at the feeding berm where the Elgin Stewardship Council started feeding corn last Saturday.

A small patch of water opened yesterday and the birds appear to be keeping it open.

Feeding continues through March so there should be at least some birds there daily from now on barring a major freeze.

We will report any rarities as they show up.
