Hopefully a final note on this bird. From the feedback I've received it
does seem to be a young blue Snow Goose.

I mentioned that Dave Martin brought my attention to this bird, but I hope
that didn't come across as inferring he believed this to be one thing or
another, as I simply don't know what his thoughts were. All I know is that
he is much more knowledgeable than I am :)
