Reposting for Len Manning:

The bird is around today. Rich Poort and I independently heard the
distinctive song at a distance. We were then invited briefly onto private
property where the bird had been seen and with a group of white throated
sparrows. The bird sang at very close range to us two more times. It is in a
dense muddy thicket and the birds are just starting to resurface as it
warms. Undoubtedly I think that the bird will be seen and heard near the
bridge that crosses the creek in the NW of the park as sparrows become
active.
Please note we did NOT see the bird and all we have so far is audio so if
you do make the trip I want to make this perfectly clear that we did not
have a visual.
Please note: there is no access to private property in this area. The
homeowners do not want people on the property. You must park at the park
itself as the end of Lowville Road is a no parking area and you will be
ticketed. The top of the stairs is also private property, please be
respectful of the landowners there and if you are asked to leave, please do
so. There are many areas in the park this bird could resurface.

Directions:

Take Guelph Line north past Britannia Road to Lowville. About .8 km past
Britannia you will see a small Bistro on the corner of Lowville Park Road.
The entrance to the park is off here and there is a large parking lot.

PLEASE NOTE: the homeowner has not allowed access to the property en masse
and others in the area may not be home. Please do not tresspass and respect
the homeowners even if they are not home. This bird was not going to be
posted due to the nature of the private property but with access to the
park, it was deemed okay to post. The bird moves around alot with the
White-throats and was in the park later on.
