Cool and cloudy weather has given excellent views of some great birds this
morning! Although fewer birds than in recent days, the park still has quite a
few songbirds to be seen, including male Hooded and Pine Warbler along with
some Palm, Yellow, and Yellow-rumped Warblers at The Tip, a White-eyed Vireo on
Tilden Trail, and a number of Blue-grey Gnatcatchers, Eastern Phoebe, and
Blue-headed Vireos. The Woodland Nature Trail offered singles of Red-headed
Woodpecker, Least Flycatcher, both Louisiana and Northern Waterthrushes,
Blue-winged, Black-and-white Warbler, and Black-throated Green Warbler. Visible
migration was light but still apparent this morning.

The weather was a bit cool and cloudy, but the forecasted rain has yet to fall
so birding is pretty comfortable today with the help of some warm clothes.
