Hi everyone. Reading about the nice crowd and display last night, I wondered what was wrong tonight. No one here. Overcast and wind maybe.
But I was still fortunate. One yellow rail called quietly in very short bursts from 558 to 615. It was Just past the bridge on west side. - where the road is wet. Also I heard Sora, Virginia Rail and Sandhill Crane. A Rough-legged hawk was patrolling. And three snipe winnowing. Two shrikes in vicinity of box 10. Take kirkfield Road north of Kirkfield Turn right onto McNamee and left onto Wylie Rd. Drive up to marsh.
