We spent the afternoon on wolf island (May 5th), The 5th line was the main hub
of activity but the whole Island was quite active with birds (RAPTORS!!)
There was a pair of Great Blue Heron (nesting) by a pond
LOTS of HAWKS hunting RED TAIL, Rough-Legged, Red-Shouldered (we spotted
well over 20 hawks )
4 or 5 American Kestrel (watch the hydro wires on the east end of the Island)
a Gray color GYRFALCON (I was only about 10 to 12 feet from it by the time I
spotted it but got a good look before it took flight)
