This morning, Saturday, May 14, a Swainson's Warbler was observed along
Linear Trail, Cambridge (Preston), ON, downstream 70+m of the confluence of
the Grand and Speed rivers for about 3 minutes by Jerry Guenther and Bill
Wilson at approximately 8:30 a.m. Bird was about 15' away from us at eye
level. I am familiar with this species in U.S. and one at this location on
May 6, 1980 (!). I will post if refound.

Hwy 401 exit # 278, Highway 8 to Cambridge-Preston. Proceed along King
Street to Westminster Drive. Turn right at lights and follow Westminster to
end at Riverside Drive and confluence of the rivers. Note benches and
signage along trail at the confluence. Bird was observed just downstream of
the Coughlin Memorial bench.
