A good morning on Lake Bernard. Highlights: 30 Whimbrel made a pass circled a
few times as if interested in landing then headed west. There are horse
pastures to the west and I have seen birds in these fields in the past.

16 Redhead an incredible number for this region, 5 Surf Scoters 2 males 2
females 1 sub adult, 40 long tailed ducks, 1 Red-necked Grebe

The land birds so quite for this time of year very concerning !

Lake Bernard is located along hwy11 approx. half way between North Bay and
Huntsville.
