There is a small breeding population of BRBL in Bruce County and it appears
there are fewer breeding pairs each year. In late summer they all flock
together and feed along Hwy 6 for a few weeks.
Today I observed a flock of 58 on the hydro wires along Hwy 6, south of Pike
Bay Rd. There is a good chance they stay for the next 2 weeks. They typically
can be seen along Hwy 6 between Ferndale and south of Pike Bay Rd.
Ferndale is about 30 km north of Wiarton.
Caution: Hwy 6 is a very busy road!!
