I could not locate the Common Ringed Plover at Tommy Thompson Park this
afternoon. I scanned all suitable habitat within Cell 2 for roughly 1 hour.

There were, however, 8 other species of shorebird present:

Killdeer
Baird’s (2)
Semipalmated Plover
Semipalmated Sandpiper
Least
Pectoral
Short-billed Dowitcher
Lesser Yellowlegs

Tommy Thompson Park is located in Toronto’s east end, at the foot of Leslie
Street. Cell 2 is a 25 minute walk from the parking lot (bring your bike).

Good Birding,
Iain
