A male Eurasian Wigeon was present this morning at the Upper Canada Migratory Bird Sanctuary, in a flock of about 40 American Wigeon just east of the causeway to Morrison Island. UCMBS is located east of Morrisburg; from the 401 take Upper Canada road south, turn east on Highway 2; the sanctuary is on the south side of the road just east of Ault Island Road. The bird was found by myself and Michelle and Paul Martin.
