Weather: Another beautiful day with lots of sunshine and warm temps. Unfortunately, too nice to force much of a migration. Winds were light from the ENE and then going variable. Raptor Observations: A slow day on the raptor migration front with a total of just 54 birds tallied...mostly N. Harriers (15) and Sharpies (19) and a small number of Broadwings (10). Non-raptor Observations: A few other birds reported today with Great Blue Heron, Blue Jays, Cedar Waxwings and Black-throated Blue Warbler. Predictions: Not expecting much of a flight again tomorrow with SSE winds and hot temps. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Dave Brown ([email protected]) Hawk Cliff Hawkwatch information may be found at: http://www.ezlink.on.ca/~thebrowns/HawkCliff/index.htm _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists (OFO) - the provincial birding organization.
