There is currently an adult Franklin's gull in winter plumage standing on the 
breakwall at Erieau with some gulls, terns, and cormorants. It's relatively 
easy to pick out but if it joins the larger gull flocks on the pier and beach 
patience will be required. 
A couple Ruddy Turnstone were on the beach with 8 Sanderling as well.
Directions: Follow Erieau Rd to the very end and park at the pier. Look across 
the channel to the breakwall.
