Thanks to the folks that helped with today's count... Bob J., Matt O., Keith S., Ronnie G. and Mary C. Weather: A better day weather-wise and nice strong SW winds which timed out just right for a Peregrine flight. A mix of sun and cloud with a temp to 20C. Raptor Observations: Total birds today was 32....and almost a third of them were Peregrines (9) most of which were right along the cliff edge though 3 of them passed right over the observation knoll. Other birds included Bald Eagles (6), N. Harriers (6), Sharpies (7) and Redtails (4). Non-raptor Observations: A few things in the other category...with 6 White-tailed Deer, RT Hummingbirds, Gray Catbirds, Winter Wrens, Magnolia and Blackpoll warblers and Common Loons. Blue Jays continued to migrate through today with a total of 930 tallied.
