Observation start time: 08:15:00
Observation end time: 14:30:00
Total observation time: 6.25 hours

Official Counter: Mike Williamson, Sean Jenniskens

Observers: Dave Martin, Linda Martin, Michael Williamson

Visitors:
We had a father-son duo from Windsor, that recently got into bird watching
on the tower today taking pictures of the local birds and a few migrants.

Weather:
The predictions were wrong today, as there wasn't a drop of rain all day,
and the skies were blue with scattered clouds! Winds were SE for most of
the day.

Raptor Observations:
Sharp-shinned Hawks made up the majority of the count again today, with
smaller numbers of 8 other species. The 2 beautiful adult Red-shouldered
Hawks were the first of the season, and highlights of the day.

Non-raptor Observations:
A total of 12,700 Blue Jays today. Other notables are late Indigo Bunting
and late Rose-breasted Grosbeak. For the full eBird checklist, go to
http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist/S31843211 4 Green Darners, a single
Black Saddlebag, and 43 Monarchs were noted today.

Predictions:
Predictions for partially sunny skies, and a slight chance of rain in the
morning. Winds to be Westward.
