Observation start time: 07:00:00
Observation end time: 15:00:00
Total observation time: 8 hours

Official Counter: Sean Jenniskens

Observers: Dave Martin, Jim McCoy, Linda Martin, Natasha Barlow

Visitors:
A couple visitors today, all able to see Sharp-shinned Hawks and migrating
Blue Jays, and one was able to see a low circling Red-shouldered Hawk.

Weather:
Another sunny day with Southerly winds.

Raptor Observations:
More birds than yesterday surprisingly, but only due to the fairly constant
stream of Turkey Vultures to our North. Red-shouldered and Red-tailed
Hawks tied in total numbers today, with 4 of each migrating over, several
of the Red-shoulders gave really good close views as well!

Non-raptor Observations:
The first Ring-necked Duck of the season was out with the American Coots
first thing in the morning, other dabbling duck numbers remain constant.
21,800 Blue Jays were counted flying over, as well as 1,493 American
Goldfinches! For the full eBird checklist, go to
http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist/S31921440 3 Black Saddlebags, a
single Green Darner, and 10 Monarchs were observed.

Predictions:
More sunny skies, and more South winds.
