Observation end time: 15:00:00
Total observation time: 8 hours

Official Counter: Sean Jenniskens

Observers: Bob Hall-Brooks

Visitors:
A couple came out for a little while from Windsor, they enjoyed looking at
some of the marsh birds as there wasn't too much flying.

Weather:
Winds from the tower today were fairly variable in both strength and
direction. Clear to clouded skies.

Raptor Observations:
Fairly slow day. A little push of slow moving Turkey Vultures for part of
the day, one group moving right along the shore in the late morning, and
some moving to the far north in the afternoon. A single Osprey was the
highlight.

Non-raptor Observations:
Fairly slow day, 7,550 Blue Jays, 250 Red-winged Blackbirds, 165 American
Goldfinches. Duck numbers have built up a little, at one point there must
have been close to 1,000 in the air in the distance. For the full eBird
checklist, go to http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist/S32012323 One
Monarch today.

Predictions:
Moderate NW winds are predicted all day tomorrow, with partially cloudy
skies.
