Hi, everyone,

While it isn't a Crested Caracara (sigh), I thought winter listers might want
to know about our male Eastern Towhee that has been here at the feeders beside
The Arboretum Centre (University of Guelph) for almost a month. This is the
same spot our overwintering Brown Thrasher hung out a couple of years ago. We
still have a Fox Sparrow and a White-throated Sparrow at that location as well.
To see a lovely photo of the towhee taken by one of our visitors, click on the
Flickr link below.

Directions: Go east from hwy 6 in Guelph onto College Avenue. Just before
College ends at Victoria Road, turn right into The Arboretum. Follow the road
to the paved parking lots and park. Cross the road and follow the paved
pathway to the building and the feeders.

Happy winter birding, Chris Earley
