Hi Everyone, For any winter listers out there, the first winter male western sandpiper is still at the Blenheim Sewage Lagoons. It was first seen there on November 13th and has been seen most (but not every) days since. It was with 11 dunlin today on the mudflat in the last pond on the right. The flock moved around a bit and flew a few times but they always landed back on the mudflat, once quite close to the bubbly pond. See record photos on my eBird list today. Steve
