After a few days last week with a rather rare here Long-tail, today a rarer
Harlequin has put in an appearance off the government dock of Lake Nipissing
at North Bay.
Meanwhile several hundred gulls (mostly Herring) continue to enjoy the
North Bay landfill site, north of the city, including Glaucous, Iceland,
Thayers and Black-backed (plus some Snow Buntings) - a great tourist site!
North Bay is 3 1/2 hours of non-stoplighted hours due north of Toronto.
