At 2.30 I could see the distant Western Grebe on the lake off Saddington Park in Mississauga as reported yesterday. I got the best view going to the lake from the parking lot and turning right and viewing it from the park bench. It was with two Red Necked Grebes and you could see that it was a much slimmer bird with more white than the Red Necked Grebes.
Saddington park is at the foot of Mississauga Rd. at the mouth of the Credit, South of the QEW. Cecilia Verkley Toronto. _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists (OFO) - the provincial birding organization.
