Two, amidst a flock of early-arriving (here) Canada Geese on Maple Ridge Road, 
just west of Powassan. Powassan is some 3 uninterrupted hours due north of 
Toronto, along hwy 11.  
        Go west along hwy (I think it is hwy 534); about one mile to Maple 
Ridge. Go north about 1/2 mile prior to a bridge crossing the now open-water 
South River. The birds were all upon a field just prior (south) to the bridge.
