This afternoon I found a male 'Oregon' type Dark-eyed Junco AND a (probably 'Slate-colored' type) Dark-eyed Junco with white wing bars at the parking lot of the Delaurier Trail in Point Pelee National Park. I have seen both of them in the last hour, though it can be tricky refinding them with a few hundred Dark-eyed Junco coming and going between numerous patches of grass and gravel. Also present here are many Song Sparrows, an American Tree Sparrow, a couple Field Sparrows, a couple Chipping Sparrows, and a Fox Sparrow. Point Pelee is at the end of Point Pelee Dr., 5-10km southeast of Leamington in Essex County.
