Hi again everyone, In case anyone is coming this weekend to look for the Rondeau white-winged dove, I thought I'd better post that it seems to have changed its preferred location. This morning, Blake Mann and I watched it building a nest on top of the capped stove/furnace pipe at 17168 Lakeshore Rd (I think that's the proper address - it's the first cottage south of the very bright yellow cottage). This is about 3/4 of a kilometre past #17272 where it was first seen last weekend and spent last spring and early summer. It's also the same location that I saw it on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. On Wednesday, it was amorously chasing a mourning dove around there. That doesn't mean anything really, as it built multiple nests last year on top of a car! I know that a few people came looking for it this week and missed it. Perhaps this is the reason. Good luck. Steve
