A Great Egret in breeding plumage was very surprisingly within the North Bay
area this aft.
It was within the grounds of the Osprey Links golf course (not yet
playable), off Cranberry Drive, just north-west of Callander.
Callander is just south of North Bay, which in turn is 3 1/2 uninterrupted
hours north of Toronto.
A very rare bird for this area!
