I stopped to investigate an American Crow as it was harassing something in
a field, and it turned out to be a Gray Partridge. In stepping out of my
vehicle, I happened to flush another Gray Partridge that I hadn't noticed.
The two took off together and landed adjacent to some rock piles about 250
m from Hwy 60. Location available via this dropped pin on this checklist (I
believe I'm about 10 km west of Renfrew):
