This afternoon after I saw a gull that appeared to be a Franklin's Gull,
something didn't sit right with me.  I poured through books trying to look
and remember features on the "Franklin's" Gull I saw.   Fortunately Gavin
Edmonstone forwarded me some pictures tonight which I then forwarded to
local experts.  This is indeed what I had suspected a Black-headed Gull.
So anyone seeing this bird tomorrow, please post immediately, there are many
birders who need this beast for their HSA lists and it would be nice if
everyone could have it on the list.  Please find attached pictures of the
bird so you know what youre are looking for.

Directions:  Bronte Harbour is located at the end of Bronte Road in
Oakville.  Viewing is best from the main pier in the morning on sunny days
but you can also view the area from Bronte Beach which is on West River
Road, down at the marina.
