Was just looking at alerts from yesterday on eBirds and noted one from C
Quinlan that she had male and female Dickcissels north of Strathroy.

She saw and photographed them.

"in tree above brush pile near corner of Springbank Drive and Bornish Drive;
singing continuously in shrubbery and tree close to me; "

Directions...

Travel north from highway 402 at the 65 interchange, highway 81 (Centre
Road) or if using road 22 from London(Egremont) turn right and head north.
Centre Rd (highway 81) soon swings to the west and so continue for a couple
of roads to Springfield Rd and head north on that(right turn). The third
road north is Bornish. I have not been there yet but look for that brush
pile and listen for the male to sing.

Good luck and keep us posted if you try for them. They rarely nest in
Middlesex but is seems lately we have more than usual. Also check fields in
the area from here south for various grassland species. For those looking
for Upland Sandpiper in Middlesex I would suggest checking on the eBirds
website.
