For the past 10 days we have frequently seen and heard a pair of Northern Ravens in our neighbourhood. While they may be ranging further afield, we have seen them in the area bounded by Leslie to the west, Van Horne to the south, Don Mills to the east and the hydro corridor north of Finch Ave. E. to the north. This area is quite elevated and they use apartment and condo towers on Linus, Brahms and Seneca Hill Dr. for perching. Usually only one individual is observed flying and crrucking. This morning, both were observed feeding on top of a hydro pole, behind the Sunny Supermarket at Ravel Rd. and Finch Ave. E, with a crow complaining nearby.
