For anyone considering a trip to see the Tricolored Heron at Tommy Thompson today, or for anyone en route, there is currently an individual turning people away at the main gate at the foot of Leslie St. He said they are 'adding flower pots and extending the island' and no one can enter while work is in progress. The gates will presumably open up again this evening, or perhaps sooner if the work is completed.
All that said, the bird is present as of 9:12am.
